Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.
I believe as a therapist my work begins with an acceptance of who and where you currently are, while supporting and working with you to create a more positive path towards change, growth and improved well-being. With a strong emphasis on the relationship between mind and body, each client and family is treated on an individual basis to create specific goals that foster manageable change.
Together, we work to identify underlying blocks that may be holding you back and remove them so that you can approach life in a more meaningful way. By helping you connect your past to your present, we will work together to gain insight and develop skills to get you “unstuck” and on a path towards growth and healing. I empower my clients by raising awareness of unconscious processes and how they impact our relationships with others and with ourselves.
While I can provide support to all individuals regardless of their stage in life, I specialize in treating adolescents, young adults, early career professionalsand their families with concerns including anxiety, stress management, depression and other mood disorders, trauma, anger, substance use, relationship issues, family conflict, grief and loss, assertiveness, self esteem and life transitions. I believe a strong family foundation is imperative for the growth of adolescents and consistently incorporate caregivers into family therapy to allow for more complete skill acquisition and to process family dynamics, shiftingpatterns of thoughts and behaviors that interfere with cohesive and healthy relationships when necessary.
