Listen to the mustn'ts, child, Listen to the dont's. Listen to the shouldn'ts, The impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, Then listen close to me. Anything can happen, child, Anything can be.
Garth Heasley is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who received his Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University, and has worked with a diverse range of individuals including children, adolescents, adults, families, and those with developmental disabilities. He is prepared to help those struggling with trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, addiction, mood instability, low self-esteem, and more.
Garth approaches each person as a unique individual, and recognizes that there is no “one size fits all” approach to people or their problems. Because of this, he uses an eclectic mix of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapies.
